Horses & Humans workshops are now offered through an inquiry and interest-list model. There is no payment through the website.

Public themed workshops and couples workshops are announced throughout the season. The themes described on this page are examples of the kinds of workshops we may offer, but they are not fixed scheduled events. Dates, themes, and locations are chosen based on availability, demand, season, location, and the wellbeing of the horses.

If you are interested in future public workshops, you can join the interest list. When a workshop is scheduled, we will send an email with the date, location, theme, price, group size, and registration details.

Joining the interest list does not commit you to attending. It simply allows you to receive workshop announcements when new dates become available.

Private group workshops and corporate workshops are arranged by request. These experiences are planned according to the needs of the group, the preferred date, the location, and the type of workshop requested. A minimum of 15 days’ notice is required, and a deposit is required once the workshop is confirmed. Full details are provided by email.

Hold Me Tight® Couples Workshops

For Couples Seeking Deeper Connection

Our Hold Me Tight® couples workshops are nature-based experiences inspired by Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Hold Me Tight® approach.

These workshops are designed for couples who want to slow down, reconnect, and better understand the emotional patterns that shape how they reach for one another, protect themselves, communicate, and respond during moments of closeness or disconnection.

In the presence of horses, couples are invited to notice connection, communication, emotional safety, and non-verbal patterns in a different way. The focus is not on blame, performance, or solving everything in a day. The focus is on creating space for reflection, understanding, and renewed connection.

Couples workshops may be offered as public small-group experiences during the season. Dates, locations, and registration details are announced by email to those on the couples workshop interest list.

Public couples workshops require a minimum of 3 couples / 6 participants and are limited to a maximum of 5 couples / 10 participants.

Pricing for couples workshops will be provided when a workshop date is announced.

Joining the couples workshop interest list does not commit you to attending. It simply allows you to receive information when a couples workshop is scheduled.

🔸 A meaningful experience for couples who want to slow down, reconnect, and understand one another beyond the usual patterns of everyday life.

Private Group Workshops

For Friends, Families, or Special Gatherings

Create your own experience with those who matter most.

Private group workshops are arranged by request for friends, families, women’s groups, special gatherings, or other small groups who would like to share a meaningful experience in nature with horses.

These workshops can be shaped around a theme such as connection, boundaries, life transitions, communication, grief, renewal, or simply the desire to slow down and spend meaningful time together.

Private group workshops are especially suited for people who already know one another and want an experience that is more personal than a public workshop.

Private group workshops require a minimum of 15 days’ notice. Fees depend on the group size, location, theme, and type of experience requested. A deposit is required once the workshop is confirmed.

All details, including price, deposit, schedule, location, and preparation information, are provided by email.

🔸 A unique, memory-making alternative to spa days or getaways - one that leaves you changed from the inside out.

“Everyone in our group said the same thing after: ‘We needed this more than we realized.’ The horses brought out the truth in all of us.”

Corporate Retreat Workshops

For Teams That Want to Work Better Together

Your team doesn't need another seminar — they need a breakthrough.

Our corporate and team-building workshops are designed for organizations, leadership teams, professional groups, and workplaces that want to explore communication, trust, emotional awareness, leadership presence, psychological safety, and team dynamics in a different kind of setting.

Horses are highly responsive social animals. They notice posture, movement, hesitation, clarity, pressure, inconsistency, and shifts in attention. In a team setting, this can help make relational patterns visible in a way that is immediate, experiential, and memorable.

These workshops are not lectures, trust falls, or traditional office seminars. They are carefully facilitated experiences designed to help teams observe how they show up, communicate, collaborate, and respond to one another.

Corporate workshops are arranged by request and tailored to the goals of the organization. The date, location, format, group size, and fee are discussed directly before the workshop is confirmed.

A minimum of 30 days’ notice is required. A deposit is required once the workshop is confirmed, and full details are provided by email.

🔸 Perfect for leadership development, conflict resolution, onboarding, or simply hitting reset with clarity and cohesion.

“Watching how the horses responded to us said more about our leadership dynamics than any assessment ever has.”

What All Workshops Have in Common

All Horses & Humans workshops are ground-based. There is no riding and no previous horse experience is required.

Each workshop is designed with care for both participants and horses. Activities may include guided observation, reflection, nature-based grounding, facilitated discussion, and carefully supported interaction with selected horses.

The goal is not to control a horse, perform a task perfectly, or become a horse expert. The goal is to notice what happens in the moment: how we approach, hesitate, communicate, protect ourselves, connect, and respond.

Our workshops are facilitated with attention to emotional safety, professional boundaries, and respect for the wellbeing of the horses.

Each workshop is designed with a theme to suit your needs and is given at various locations from May to October. You can come individually or as part of a group. There is no experience with horses needed and the workshops are designed to match your comfort level.

This is a chance to re-connect with your inner self and discover new ways of coping with life experiences. The workshops are not meant as therapy, but rather as an opportunity to learn about yourself through the horse. Come experience the benefits of being in nature in the presence of these majestic animals. We look forward to greeting you.

What to expect
How it works

The one day workshops begin at 9:30 AM and last until 4:30 PM. We will enjoy a lunch break with a tasty gourmet boxed lunch that is provided as part of the fee. Explore our themed workshops to get an idea of some of the many subjects we can explore together.  Once you click on the Interest List or Request a Workshop links in the Choose the Workshop Experience section,  you will be able to select the type of workshop, date and location you prefer. Feel free to contact us by email for any further information you may require.
